石鎚山は標高1,982mの西日本最高峰であり、修験道の七霊山の一つです。四国の愛媛県に位置し、切り立った岩壁に打ち付けられた鉄鎖を登る迫力あるルートは、何世紀もの修験の歴史を今に伝えています。山頂の稜線からは四国山脈と瀬戸内海を見渡す絶景が広がります。

JRで伊予西条駅、バスで石鎚ロープウェイ乗り場まで約55分。ロープウェイで成就社まで上がり、そこからハイキング開始。車の場合は松山自動車道いよ西条ICを利用。
